Chris Koressis is the founder of the firm and a Canadian business lawyer. He specializes in corporate and commercial law, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, information technology, licensing, e-commerce, corporate finance, corporate governance, outsourcing, mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts and divestitures, employment law and civil dispute resolution. Chris Koressis received a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Civil Law and Bachelor of Laws from McGill University in Canada and was called to the bar in Toronto, Ontario in 1984.
Before establishing the law firm, Chris Koressis was Corporate Counsel at Geac Computer Corporation and a member of the company's worldwide mergers and acquisitions team. Prior to Geac, Chris Koressis led CIBC's technology law department as Senior Counsel and he also served as Director, Strategic Sourcing, managing the bank's worldwide procurement of information technology, corporate services and products. He also led a task force on the legal and business issues associated with electronic commerce and Internet business strategies. Before CIBC, he was Corporate Counsel for Royal Bank of Canada and prior to that he was a legal advisor to the Chief Judge of the District Court of Ontario in Toronto.
